R&G Fluid Power acquires PAR GROUP

We are thrilled to announce that R&G Fluid Power Group Ltd has completed the acquisition of Plastic and Rubber Group ("PAR”), a leading manufacturer and supplier of engineering plastics, insulation and rubber products.

With over 40 years of experience, PAR Group has earned a reputation for excellence throughout industry and are a trusted supplier globally to almost every market sector, including food and drink, pharmaceutical, water treatment, chemical, aerospace, and power generation.

With modern UK facilities in Manchester and Preston, PAR offers various bespoke services, including plastic machining, plastic fabrication, waterjet cutting, CNC profile cutting, industrial stitching and rubber moulding. This allows them to manufacture products such as gaskets, rubber mouldings and precision-engineered and fabricated components. In addition to its bespoke engineering capabilities, PAR also stock and distribute an extensive range of hoses and fittings which fit perfectly into the core offering of the R&G Fluid Power Group.

Commenting on the acquisition, Richard Davies, MD of R&G Fluid Power Group, stated, "We are very excited to welcome Keith, Tony, Chris and the whole PAR team to the R&G family. PAR's expertise and reputation complement and extend our existing capabilities, allowing us to better serve our customers. There is plenty that the team at PAR can share with others within our group and we are looking forward to learning from each other and continuing our success."

Culturally, PAR Group's dedication to quality, customer satisfaction, and support of local community initiatives perfectly aligns with R&G's values and strategic objectives. This acquisition further strengthens R&G's position as a UK fluid power industry market leader.

Directors Keith Chambers, Tony Glen and Chris Livesey stated, "We are delighted to become part of the R&G Fluid Power Group. We have developed our company over the last 20 years, strategically investing in employees, systems, machinery, facilities, and developing engineering expertise. Becoming part of the R&G Fluid Power Group gives assurance and enables accelerated growth, providing opportunities and security for our company and all PAR staff for the future."

As with all R&G businesses, PAR will maintain a strong identity and continue to operate under its current brand and existing locations with the same unwavering commitment to customers and colleagues. Keith, Tony, and Chris will continue to lead the PAR business and work with their new colleagues at R&G to help develop and integrate PAR with R&Gs existing plastics and rubber businesses.
